PM Sukumar—Chief Mentor
Publishing industry veteran, PM Sukumar was Senior VP at Penguin India (now Penguin Random House India) and then took over as Managing Director of Dorling Kindersley India. After DK, he led HarperCollins India as its Chief Executive Officer. After three decades in publishing, he moved on to represent the India interest of the London Book Fair as its representative. Sukumar is Chief Mentor of Anthill Press and guides us with a steady hand across all key functions.

Anurag Basnet—Publisher
Over a career spanning two decades, Anurag has been an editor at Penguin India and at Rupa Publications and Aleph Book Company. He was one of the founding members and Managing Editor of Speaking Tiger Books. Anurag is a published translator and has also taught Mass Communication to under- and post-graduates.
Anurag leads Anthill Press as our Publisher. He builds our lists and oversees all editorial, acquisition and business functions.

Philip Koshy—Sales
Philip Koshy, in his three decades in publishing operations and client servicing, has managed various functions at Penguin India, HarperCollins, Macmillan, Dorling Kindersley, Orient Longman and, most recently, Harvard Business Review (HBR) Publishing in India. Philip is our sales wizard. He has chosen Chennai as his home base and currently front ends our relationships in South and East India.

Devinder Singh—Assistant Editor
Devinder Singh’s professional experience spans government institutions, think tanks and civil society organizations. He has interned with the Ministry of Culture; worked with Manthan, a public policy think tank; and at the Institute of Governance, Policies & Politics. Besides history, politics and culture, he maintains a keen inerest in sports. In his spare hours, Devinder also volunteers with the Robin Hood Army, and contributes to food distribution and grassroots education initiatives across New Delhi.

Zohra Zeba—Marketing Manager
Zohra has spent the last decade proving that a book’s best friend isn't just a library, it’s also a well-timed, 360-degree marketing campaign. With a career graph that spans the creative chaos of an ad agency to publishing houses like Aleph Book Company and Rupa Publications, she specializes in turning literary masterpieces into social-first sensations. When Zohra isn’t optimizing Amazon metadata or A/B testing her way into a reader’s heart, she’s likely wondering why there aren’t enough cats in the world.

Rahul Chauhan—Senior Designer
Rahul is a multi-disciplinary designer with a BFA from the College of Art, Delhi University. He sees the world through an artist’s lens, often finding ideas in everyday moments and in nature. Rahul’s work is about balancing creativity with meaning and he’s always pushing himself to explore, experiment and grow through what he creates. Rahul volunteers with children, using art to foster learning and growth. He is also an avid gardener.

Sarthak Sharma—Assistant Editor
Sarthak Sharma is a journalist and editor and has worked as a bookseller. His interests range widely, from music to vinyl to the Russian and European classics. His work has appeared in Frontline, Outlook, The Asian Age, Deccan Chronicle, The Quint, Auster Network and The Indian Music Diaries.
